Category: Accessible Games
Hey everyone,
I'm genuinely curious about this: has anyone had any luck with any of the virtual casinos where you wager real bets and play for actual money?
Mind you, I'm not talking about the fake blackJack or poker games manufactured just for the blind, where you don't play for actual money. I've been researching online gambling for a freelance assignment I've been working on, and it just popped into mind to see whether there are any accessible casinos out there. I know that most of the virtual casino games out there are flash-based, thus useless to us, but maybe there's something I'm missing? Or perhaps, with the emergence of mobile online gaming and the accessibility of IDevices and such, perhaps some of the games are accessible to us via that medium?
Who knows? Let's share. Cant't wait to learn something new.
Hi,
I have been a poker affiliate for some time with an online poker site. the problem you'll have is that as you will know from your research the difficult of gambling in the states. I know at the moment there are several people trying to get the rules changed,
as for websites that are accessible, there is only one poker network that is. it's not very big yet it works. It's based out of Malta and focus's on European and South American traffic.
as for Rulette and Blackjack I can't think of any, anymore. it used to be more common that black jack would work in flash player on a lot of european based sports books. this changed in the last few years for the same reason that poker sites don't like using text based buttons and scripting, is because there is a belief that it's a less secure method of out put. not sure why that is but someone with a more technical knowledge may be able to explain why. maybe easier for someone to lock on to text transmition.
the site I work with doesn't allow US players but our scripting is done with Jaws.
if you have anymore questions please hit me up, there is a lot of things I can write about. it's an area I have played with for 10 years
I have also wondered about this myself, since I'm genuinely curious about the online gambling scene as well but I am aware that in the US there are a lot of limitations when it comes to gambling on the internet. I hope other people can share their knowledge and shame that the one mas is affiliated with does not allow players from the states.
